Lamu is by far the best destination I've been to. One of the things I love the most about it is that there are no cars so you either walk or hop on one of these bad boys. I mean the Donkey, not the dude!
Life is raw and authentic down there. Try it if you haven't.
Here, the sun rises at 5:30am. Don't blink or you'll miss it. By 6am, the magic trick is over and hopefully you've captured it because it only happens once. Tomorrow it will be slightly different.

The moment I saw Orange Beard, I knew I had to take his picture. A few minutes later, his son came by and I got a portrait of the two as well (Coming up soon) This however, is the spirit of Lamu. No rush, No stress. No wonder there are so many old men seated by the road side playing draughts and storytelling all day long.
At the end of the day, Lamu is my go-to destination when I need to get away from it all.
